Our Baby Bears program provides a calm, nurturing environment where safety, bonding, and responsive care are the foundation of each day. Teachers focus on building secure attachments while supporting important developmental milestones through sensory exploration, tummy time, music, rich language exposure, and consistent routines. Beginning around 12 months, we gently introduce simple sign language to support early communication and reduce frustration as verbal skills begin to emerge. With individualized attention and loving guidance, infants grow in trust, security, and early confidence as they begin exploring their world.

Happy Hedgehogs is where curiosity begins to bloom. In this stage, toddlers are encouraged to explore safely while developing communication skills, independence, and early social awareness. Through guided play, movement activities, simple routines, hands-on discovery, and continued use of basic sign language, children strengthen both verbal and nonverbal communication. As vocabulary expands, they begin expressing their needs more clearly, interacting confidently with peers, and building foundational self-help skills that prepare them for more structured learning.

In Playful Porcupines, children become active explorers and early learners. This classroom blends purposeful play with gentle structure, introducing small-group activities, vocabulary development, fine and gross motor practice, and emotional coaching. Sign language continues to be incorporated as a supportive communication tool alongside expanding verbal skills, helping children express themselves clearly and confidently. Students begin participating in guided learning experiences while continuing to develop cooperation, independence, and early academic awareness.

The Fearless Foxes program supports growing independence and confidence as children transition into more structured learning. With a balance of hands-on exploration and intentional instruction, students are introduced to early literacy concepts, number recognition, cooperative play, and consistent classroom routines. Sign language continues to be integrated as a supportive communication tool, reinforcing vocabulary development and emotional expression as verbal skills strengthen. Emotional regulation and problem-solving skills are nurtured daily, helping children build the focus and resilience needed for preschool readiness.

Busy Bees is where early academics begin to take flight. Students participate in engaging small-group instruction that strengthens letter recognition, sound identification, early writing skills, number sense, and foundational math concepts. Interactive read-alouds, guided discussions, and hands-on learning experiences build comprehension and confidence. Sign language continues to be incorporated as an enrichment tool that reinforces vocabulary and clear communication, while verbal expression and independence grow significantly. Students develop the focus and responsibility needed for a successful transition into Pre-K.

Clever Coyotes prepares students for kindergarten through structured instruction and intentional skill development. Students strengthen letter-sound correspondence, begin blending sounds to read simple words, expand writing skills, and build strong number sense and problem-solving abilities. Small-group learning and guided practice support academic growth while fostering independence and leadership. Sign language may continue to be used to reinforce vocabulary and classroom communication, complementing the increasingly advanced verbal and literacy skills students are developing. By the end of Pre-K, children are confident, capable learners ready for kindergarten expectations.

Wise Wolves represents the full Private Academy experience, where students engage in structured academic learning designed to build strong reading, writing, and math foundations. Classroom discussions, collaborative learning, and leadership opportunities encourage responsibility and confidence. The strong communication foundation built from infancy—including enriched language exposure and supportive sign integration in earlier years—allows students to approach learning with independence, capability, and academic readiness.
